Mission

Routt First Responders Foundation strives to protect, celebrate, and provide assistance
to Routt County first responders and their families.

The Foundation operates based off of three pillars:

First Responder
Assistance

The Foundation offers critical resources and financial assistance to first responders who may be facing personal or professional challenges. This assistance ensures that those who protect and serve our community receive the help they need during difficult times.

The Remembrance Scholarship

In honor of those who have given their lives in service to the community, the Foundation administers a scholarship program designed to assist young individuals interested in pursuing careers in public service. This scholarship extends beyond traditional first responder roles, encompassing professions in firefighting, emergency medical services (EMS), law enforcement, hospital work, ski patrol, and other related fields.

Community
Outreach

The Foundation organizes fundraising events throughout Routt County to build community relationships, raise awareness of its mission, and generate essential financial resources for its charitable activities. These events play a key role in bringing the community together to celebrate and assist local first responders.

Through these pillars, the Routt First Responders Foundation is dedicated to improving the well-being of those who serve on the front lines of our community. By providing tangible assistance, honoring their sacrifices, and fostering community connections, the Foundation ensures that first responders in Routt County receive the recognition and help they truly deserve.
